Chemistry dating service review

Again and again we ask the same old question: what makes this very service different from dozens of others? What makes it unique and interesting to users? Well, chemistry.com has quite a peculiar feature I believe the majority of us will definitely like! What is it? Read further and you will get the point.

How Chemistry.com Works?

The You Part

The Personality Profile captures your essential truths and goals, so the service can find someone to spark a magical combination.

The Matching Part

I've mentioned the peculiar feature, here it is. It is Chemistry that will do all the matching, but not you. Each day you will receive up to 5 matches. They're based on Dr. Helen Fisher's latest research on the topic why people are attracted to each other.

The Email Part

The Guided Communications Process (more interesting than it sounds) lets you fly past that awkward get to know you stage so you can see if there's a basis to move forward, or move on.

Chemistry’s Personality Check

When you sign up you are offered a special test. To tell the truth, the questions of the test are the most original and amazing from what I’ve seen before. It's pure fun. For instance, you will be asked to look at your right hand and compare it with the provided images. The thing they learn is the length of your index and ring fingers, not the length actually, but which one of them is longer. What for? Hm…ask them!

Moving on…You have to answer some more questions in order for the service’s experts to learn your personality traits. All the questions are accompanied by images, so the process gets neither boring nor too complicated.

You will be offered to play an interesting game matching the size of geometrical figures. Frankly speaking I didn’t pass that section of the test – I wasn’t able to make them equal. Maybe I should be evacuated to a remote island because I’m a threat to the society?

And there was that toggle switch near a picture of a kissing couple with the commentary: “When I see two people madly kissing in public, I’d rather not look.” The choice provided was from strongly disagree to strongly agree. What would you choose?

In fact, it takes some time to do the test. Still, if it is considered to be vital for the service, why not? To my mind if the service will later do all the searching for you, spending 10 minutes answering simple questions is worth it!

Conclusion

If you have patience to do the test to the end (it took me over 25 minutes) than you get a possibility to find almost a perfect match for you! If you do believe in online dating services, chemistry.com is one of the most peculiar I’ve encountered over the Internet.

My Home Page

It seems to be the main page of the site when you’re signed in. It shows you all the contacts and other stuff. It includes “My Matching criteria”, “My profile”, “My Account”, “My Chemistry Profile.”
Moreover, you get 3 useful options on your Home Page:
New Matches - New Matches highlights members who have been identified as high compatibility matches for you by our system based on your Chemistry Profile.
Interested in You - Interested In You includes members who have already reviewed your profile and indicated a high level of interest in getting to know you.
Active Matches - Active Matches includes those members you are actively getting to know through the four-stage communication process.
