First of all, iLove.com is an international dating service that unites over 5 countries where you can find regional subdivisions of the service: Austria, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Russia etc. The thing is that the service is the same in all the above mentioned countries, but it is adjusted to the region by the choice of the language and some regional aspects. I’m going to review the service in general abstracting from the regional variations.

Registration

The first thing you notice is that the service is absolutely free. The registration process is very simple: enter your desired username, password and e-mail and that’s it, you’re done!

Uploading a photo

Basically there are two ways of uploading photos: a direct and indirect one. The former enables you to upload the photos to the service’s server directly; the latter suggests sending your photo by e-mail so that the service will publish it instead of you.

You can come to your profile via the main page. Here you can upload new photos, change details etc. At the same time you can search for a new match here (if your preferences have changed you simply change the info in your profile)

The gallery of the service features the currently registered new members, who’s online and who’s having birthdays

Mail

Check your mail regularly. Who knows, maybe your true love has just left you a message. There is a “blacklist” where you can put users you don’t want to receive messages from.

Friends

The service offers to include both existing members of iLove and your friends who use other services.

In order to invite a friend you have to follow the instruction:

Go to the Main Page
Press on the bottom left “Invite Friends”
Send an invitation to the friend’s e-mail address
You friend can now accept the invitation
You will be automatically linked to him and his friends
On the pages “Gallery” and “Friends” you will be able to see all your friends

iLove.com Features

Chat

The service allows you to communicate with up to 7 users simultaneously. It is a real-time chat where you can invite friends via the Gallery

Dating-factor

Dating-factor will tell you if your profile is attractive to other users. Of course, it fails to evaluate your personal attractiveness, but it can evaluate the degree of profile completeness

Favorites

You’ve found a few interesting people, but at the moment don’t have time to write to them? No problem - put them in your favorites list.

Virtual Kiss

This feature might be the first step towards a new meeting. Just push “send a kiss” and it will be sent to the user.

Creeping Line
