phpthumbphp.jpgFrida Khalo is probably one of the most famous women in the history of the 20th century. She is an outstanding painter, a great patriot and stormy person. She is famous for her extraordinary and outlandish love stories.

At the age of 22 Frida enters the most prestigious university in Mexico (the National Training School). There were only 35 girls to 1000 of students. There she met her future husband – Diego Riviera – who had just come back from France. And this is probably the point when Frida Kahlo’s love affairs began.

On the very wedding day Diego revealed his vigorous character – he drank too much and began to shoot into the air. The attempts to calm him down added oil into the fire. The first family scandal was obvious. Frida went to her parent. On having a good sleep Diego begged her pardon and was forgiven.

The young couple moved to their new flat and then to the hose which became very popular as “the blue house” where they had been living for a long time. There life was full of passion. It was difficult for them to stay all the time together but it was almost impossible to separate. A friend of theirs noticed that their relations were “passion, obsession and torture”.

In 1934 Diego betrayed Frida with her younger sister Christa, who was his model at that time. Diego did it publicly. He knew he would hurt his wife still he didn’t want to break their relations. This was a hard stroke for Frida. Having been a proud woman she had no intentions to share her paint with anybody but canvas. The result is one of her most famous and tragic pictures - the naked woman scratched with numerous wounds and the one who did it with an indifferent air carrying the knife in his hand. “Just few Scraps” – such an ironic name gave Frida to her masterpiece.

So Frida Kahlo’s love affairs received a new turn. After such a betrayal she decided that she had a right for love affairs as well. Riviera got maddened. Doing everything he wanted this man was intolerant to Frida’s love affairs – the famous painter was extremely jealous.

There is a romantic veil over the relations of Frida and Trotski. The woman had a great respect to Russian politician and was glad to welcome him in Mexico.

The 60-years old revolutionary was carried away as a boy. He wrote passionate letter, put them into the book which passed to Frida on Rivera’s eyes.
