Nine Year Old Child Prodigy Creates A Dating Manual
Meet Alec Graven, 9 year old boy from Castle Rock, Colorado, who wrote his first book -”How to Talk to Girls” and made adults to stop and have a think. It’s all started as a $3 pamphlet, which was sold at his school book fair. And then it hit the shelves nationwide around the US. “How to Talk to Girls” is recently published by HarperCollins.
He advises Lothario wannabes to stop showing off and to be easy on the compliments to avoid looking desperate. Also he emphasized: “Be wary of “pretty girls.” He said: “The best choice for most boys is a regular girl. Remember, some pretty girls are coldhearted when it comes to boys. Don’t let them get to you.”
On the playground, Alec noticed that love is fleeting, and the younger you are, the more fleeting it is. “I saw a lot of boys that had trouble talking to girls,” Alec said. “Some boys, they might get the girl to like them at the start of a recess and at the end, the girl dumps them.” His advice is to keep moving, when they got dumped. “You have to get over it. Otherwise everything just crashes down. But you have to move on!”
