Most Trafficked Religious Dating Services

In the recent post we had fun with most trafficked general dating sites with the industry leader – Match.com. No doubt they get tons of traffic compared to religious dating services – those niche sites get lower traffic, but due to their targeting they are likely to get a better conversion rate – and they certainly do.

A number of top dating players run a network of dating sites covering a number of niches and interlinking their own projects.

OK, let’s have a look at niche dating services. We will start with religious dating services:

CHRISTIAN DATING: ChristianMingle.com vs BigChurch.com vs ChristianCafe.com

JEWISH DATING: JewishFriendFinder.com vs JDate.com

MUSLIM DATING (Google Trends returned no results and we turned to its competitor - Compete.com): TwoMuslims.com vs MuslimMatrimonialsNetwork.com

And the winner of the compared religious dating services is… JDate.com

P.S. For stats nerds some more stats tables from Plenty Of Fish owner. It is a surprise to see people signed with some paid services and still actively seeking for partners on free dating websites.

Another piece of stats coming from the same source – stats by education. It looks like educated people are most addicted to dating services. Explanation? Busy people making career with no time to spend on their personal life. And most of their time they spend at the computer that makes dating services a nice solution.

Most Trafficked General Dating Services

One can get scared how powerful Google is. The guys just add one more feature to their Google Trends service (Google Trends for Websites) and that kills entire businesses:

- Quantcast
- Alexa
- Compete

It is naïve to believe that those services will co-exist with Google Trends for Websites. They certainly can go on, but they will get next to nothing users or they should change their business models (probably, they have done those steps and I am simply unaware).

Is Google Trends for Websites a reliable tool? I do not doubt that it is more reliable than aforementioned competitors.

OK, let’s have some fun/ research time with this tool and compare general dating traffic to see what dating services are really top industry players.

Can we define top industry players those that get most traffic? Though not 100% true, but it is undoubtedly one of the key indicators.

So, here we go:

Singlesnet vs Perfectmatch vs eHarmony vs Mingles

Mate1 vs Date.com vs Chemistry

general-dating-services-2 Most Trafficked General Dating Services

Matchmaker vs Match.com vs GreatExpectations vs Engage

general-dating-services-3 Most Trafficked General Dating Services

And the winner is: Match.com

It does not look like I properly selected who should be compared to who, but the winner is obvious – Match.com

One more fast comparison (‘bonus’): Match.com vs Plenty of Fish:

Well, Match.com leading position seems safe…

More Signs Of Online Dating Decline

I have blogged about my Google Trends lookup to see how online dating is doing. And it is not just my impression, but the point that some industry experts share

It is not a secret that Loventer.com is supported by the dating services that pay us for each referred subscriber.

So, I have decided to make a competition research of similar websites that are ranked in the top Google search engine results unlike Loventer.com.

You can see some research results below, but you know the main conclusion that really impressed me is that Loventer’s competitors are like those dating services – most are simply abandoned places with no updates since 2005-2006.

Once actively promoted – I think at that time they were likely good income sources to their owners - they are no more actively maintained.

Well, with that decline statement repeated in a few blog posts I ask myself why we are in this industry yet if there are all those new iPhone trends and toy buzz industries with good potential?

In my opinion, dating industry is the industry that will last longer than all those trends as it is based on some human instincts and nature. And it is a real fun to follow its development – no matter if it is on the rise and decline.
